Nicola Liscio-Heffernan has been appointed by Accesso Technology Group as the new EMEA sales director for the technology provider.
Accesso recently extended its partnership with Merlin Entertainments and will continue to be the ticketing technology provider for 113 Merlin venues across 19 different countries until August 2026.
Liscio-Heffernan said: “I am thrilled to be joining Accesso. I look forward to working with this amazing team to expand our opportunities within Europe’s leisure and entertainment industry and extend the reach of our award-winning technology.”
Mobile ticketing and event discovery platform DICE has recently added to its senior leadership team with four new appointments.
Falko Mortiboys (pictured left) has been made vice-president of fan experience, Ali McCloud (pictured right) has been appointed vice-president of partner relations, Antony Jackson has come in as head of expansion, Europe and Leon Sherman has joined the company as the head of artist partnerships, UK and Europe.
Mortiboys was previously director of data insights and CRM at Premier League club Manchester United, while McCloud, who will be based in New York, will work with the company’s venues, promoters and artists. McCloud has previously held positions at ticketing companies such as Eventbrite, Ticketmaster and Ticketfly.
Jackson will be responsible for driving the platform’s presence in markets across Europe and breaking into new countries. Sherman joined DICE from online audio sharing platform SoundCloud, where he held the position of global editorial director.
Ticketing software company Tix Ticketing has strengthened its engineering team and has announced it will establish a new office in Ukraine. Three new senior developers have been appointed, including Andrii Zhuk, Oleksandr Karplyuk and Oleksandr Melnichenko.

Booking agency X-ray Touring has promoted Jo Biddiscombe to the role of director, with the promotion also leading to a place on the agency’s management board.
Biddiscombe has been with X-ray since the company launched and became an agent with the company in 2017.
Three other promotions have also been handed out at the agency, with Claire MacLeod taking on the role of agent, while Paul Lomas and Hannah Edds have been promoted to the role of booker.
Elsewhere, Josh Young has been promoted to senior manager, revenue ops at event marketing platform Audience Republic. Young started with the company in January 2021 in the role of growth marketing manager.
John-Jackson Almond has started a new role as theatre director of Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG)’s network of Woking venues. Almond was previously the theatre director of venues in York with ATG. He wrote on LinkedIn: “I’m happy to share that I’m transferring to a new position as Theatre Director of Woking Venues here at Ambassador Theatre Group! Officially from 03 May 2022. Picking up from the amazing Simon Thompsett! What an honour.”
