New Accesso integration allows guests to spread the cost

Accesso, a technology solutions provider for attractions and venues, has established a new integration with financial technology company PayPal.

While Accesso first integrated PayPal into the checkout process for the Accesso Passport online ticketing system in 2014, client venues can now offer PayPal’s ‘Pay Later’ options to customers.

New options are now available to help eligible guests spread the cost, including ‘Pay in 4’ which offers the ability to pay for a purchase in four interest-free payments over six weeks, and ‘PayPal Credit’ which is a digital credit line that offers six months of special financing on purchases over $99 (£79/€92).

The integration is already live and is available to users of the Accesso Passport eCommerce ticketing solution at no extra cost.

Accesso Passport powers online ticketing for leisure and entertainment operators and facilitates up-selling and cross-selling through prompts. Guests using the mobile-first solution can plan their day and add extras to ticket purchases including parking passes and dining packages.

Michael Wiggins, director of global payments at Accesso, said: “At Accesso, we are always seeking new ways to increase conversions, maximise cart values and enhance the guest experience for our clients.

“Through this new integration with PayPal, our partners are able to remove the barrier of an all-in, up-front cost for guests, broadening access to higher value offerings.”
