Tickets on sale for Seoul’s first e-prix

Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural Formula E e-prix in Seoul, South Korea.

Seoul is set to welcome the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship for the first time, for the final round of the motorsport’s Season 8.

The Hana Bank Seoul E-Prix will take place on August 13-14 at Jamsil Stadium Complex.

Ticket reservations can be made through the Oe app, which is available on the Google Play Store and Apple Store. Tickets are one-day, and are organised into six categories depending on location, perks and services of the seating area.

The initial reservation period will run until Wednesday (Jul 13) with front seats, Royal Pink plus first and second floor prime seats available. Royal Pink tickets include access to additional amenities such as a dedicated lounge and catering area, as well as centrally located seats.

All tickets enable motorsport fans to watch practice, qualifying and the race itself with a concert also taking place on Saturday and Sunday.

Prices range from 99,000 won (£63/$76/€75) up to 500,000 won and fans can purchase up to four tickets per race day.

Seoul was originally due to host the event in 2020, but this was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
