Nottingham Ice Centre opens tendering process to find new ticketing system

The Nottingham Ice Centre has opened a tendering process to find a new ticketing system.

The venue is inviting suppliers for the provision, installation and on-going support of its ticketing system.

Suppliers will also have to deal with the joint-located Motorpoint Arena Nottingham’s varied events schedule.

In a release, management said: “We are open to exploring all possible options, including outsourced, in-house and hybrid models of ticketing solutions.”

Nottingham Ice Centre is located in the city centre of the English city and also counts the 10,000-capacity Motorpoint Arena Nottingham within its portfolio, which caters for live entertainment, comedy and sport throughout the year.

All arena events require ticketed admission, meaning a sophisticated, flexible and robust ticketing system is needed for the day-to-day operation of the venue.

The ticketing tender process will open on Thursday September 15 with the submission deadline falling on Friday October 7 at 17:00 GMT.

Tenderers will be expected to demonstrate their services between Monday 10 and Wednesday October 26.

Nottingham Ice Centre Ltd intends to award the contract on Friday October 28.
