Revised ticketing bundles for Qatar’s museums

Qatar Museums, a government entity that oversees the nation’s museums, has revised its ticketing policy for entry into museums until December 31, 2022.

The new policy is already in place and visitors should book and purchase tickets through the Qatar Museums website. Museum admission tickets will also include entry to exhibitions held at numerous institutions.

Revised ticketing bundles for the National Museum of Qatar (pictured), 3-2-1 Qatar and Olympic Sport Museum or the Museum of Islamic Art will cost QAR 100 (£24.89/€28.36/$27.47) for adults. Entry is free for children under the age of 16 and for One Pass holders.

Entry to Math: Arab Museum of Modern Art is QAR 50 for adults and free for children aged 16 and under, as well as One Pass holders.

Entry to Al Zubarah Archaeological Site will cost QAR 35 for adults and free for One Pass holders and those under 16.

With the World Cup coming to Qatar in November and December, over a million tourists are expected to descend on the nation. The revised ticketing bundles will act as a draw to lure in visitors in between matches or to form part of football fans’ stay in Qatar.

Last minute tickets for the FIFA World Cup went on sale at the end of September and will remain on sale until the end of the tournament.

The Qatar World Cup will kick off on November 20 with the final set to take place on December 18.
