A round-up of the latest live music news…
American rock band Blink-182 is set to return with Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker (all pictured) for the first time in almost 10 years.
The worldwide tour will be produced by Live Nation and will include the band’s first ever performances in Latin America. There will also be performances in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand starting in March 2023 through February 2024.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale October 17.
The tour announcement also includes festival appearances in Latin America and the US, such as Lollapalooza events and When We Were Young in 2023.
Lollapalooza Chile, Lollapalooza Argentina and Lollapalooza Brasil revealed their line-ups, which included Blink-182 as well as Drake, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, Rosalía and Lil Nas X.
The line-ups also include performances from the likes of The 1975, Armin Van Buren, Jamie XX, Tove Lo and Purple Disco Machine.
Blink-182 will also feature at When We Were Young festival from Live Nation, which will also boast performances from Green Day, Good Charlotte, The Offspring, 30 Seconds To Mars and more.
Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp has announced details of a UK and European tour for 2023.
The duo’s ‘True Electric’ tour will begin in Sweden in February with further dates in London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Prague, Berlin and Oslo. Pre-sale tickets were made available through the band’s mailing list today (Wednesday) with general sale tickets up for grabs from October 14.
Elsewhere, Self Esteem has expanded her ‘I Tour This All The Time’ UK and Ireland tour which includes a third show at London’s Eventim Apollo, and extra shows in Manchester and Sheffield.
