Extra tickets made available for Morocco vs Spain

FIFA has allocated an extra 5,000 tickets for Morocco’s World Cup last 16 match against Spain tomorrow (Tuesday) night.

Morocco’s national team revealed the news on Twitter yesterday, and said: “After great efforts made by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, the International Federation of Football (FIFA) has allocated 5,000 tickets for the match that will bring together the national team and its Spanish counterpart, to Moroccan fans and placed them on its official website for selling tickets.”

The match is set to take place at the 44,667-capacity Education City Stadium Al Rayyan, Qatar, at 18:00 local time.

The winner of the match between Morocco and Spain will go on to face the winner of Portugal vs Switzerland, which also takes place tomorrow, in the quarter-finals.

Morocco fans are able to purchase the extra tickets through FIFA’s official ticketing platform.

The World Cup has posted a cumulative attendance of over 2.45 million for the first 48 matches in Qatar, according to FIFA.
