Palmeiras launches new Palmeiras Pay membership

Campeonato Brasileiro Série A football club Palmeiras has introduced Palmeiras Pay, a digital account that will bring together financial services, perks and experiences for fans.

The new Palmeiras Pay is linked to the Avanti fan partner programme and the Palmeiras Store. Membership is free, with no administration fee and the app is available to download from the Google Play and Apple stores.

As all services are integrated, fans will be able to access the perks of Avanti, buy tickets for games and purchase products from the club’s store. Other benefits include being able to spread the cost of these store purchases.

Those that utilise the digital account will automatically integrate the Avanti Programme with the Green Plan – which costs R$9.99 (£2/€2/$2) per month – and gain an exemption from six monthly fees, if they choose the form of payment as a credit card or a monthly fee. Benefits, products and experiences are still being developed by the club.

The account offers numerous financial benefits and holders of the debit and credit card, which will be issued in the Elo Mais or Elo Grafite models, will be part of a loyalty programme. This programme will see holders accrue points with each purchase, which can be exchanged for upgrade or membership of the Avanti plan, special perks to use at the club store or purchase tickets in pre-sales for concerts and events held at Allianz Parque.

Club president Leila Pereira said: “With Palmeiras Pay, our fans have access to benefits that go beyond the playing field, such as insurance discounts, tickets to concerts and products, among others. In addition, you will be able to live exclusive experiences within the palestrino universe and will contribute directly to your passion, which is Palmeiras.”

Meliza Pedroso, chief marketing officer of Elo, added: “The partnership is a great opportunity to get closer to the passion of fans by offering our payment solutions, which go through access to Elo’s exclusive advantages, such as pre-sales at shows, flexible card benefits and offers on various sites and stores. And more: we want to bring agility and even more technology to the purchase experience of the products available to fans in this vigorous ecosystem between Palmeiras, Pefisa and Elo.”
