SeatGeek extends partnership with New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans NBA side has renewed its partnership with ticketing technology company, SeatGeek.

The Pelicans will continue to use centralised data reports from all open-distribution sales channels, and query builders, to optimise marketing and revenue.

The team will also utilise SeatGeek’s adaptive technology to integrate with third-party vendors that enhance the gameday experience for fans.

SeatGeek signed the Pelicans as its first NBA client in 2017, and has worked with the franchise to introduce new technologies. Over the last year, SeatGeek helped the Pelicans to integrate third-party technology into its app, including the addition of real-time, in-game offers and exclusive experiences to drive fan engagement and revenue.

Danielle du Toit, president of SeatGeek’s enterprise business, said: “Every client is important to SeatGeek, but the Pelicans hold a particularly special place in our hearts as our first-ever NBA partner.

“Simply satisfying fans isn’t enough for the Pels. They consistently challenge us to create and integrate new features that exceed fan expectations. The extension of our partnership is a testament to the relationship we’ve built over the past six years and our shared goal to never settle for the status quo.”

SeatGeek expanded its NBA portfolio in November last year when the company became the official ticketing provider for the Utah Jazz and Vivint Arena.
