Price hikes revealed for Green Bay Packers fans

The Green Bay Packers NFL team has revealed a price increase on stadium bowl tickets for the 2023 season.

Regular season tickets are set to increase between $3 (£2.50/€3) and $9 per game, depending on the location within the 81,441-capacity Lambeau Field. Preseason ticket prices, which cost roughly half the price of regular-season prices, will increase between $1 and $5 per game.

The Packers will host eight regular season games and two preseason contests.

Packers president and chief executive, Mark Murphy, said in the letter sent to season ticket-holders: “Our overall average ticket price, which includes general bowl and premium seating components, will be just below the NFL’s average.

“We try to keep our tickets as affordable as possible. Additionally, as a business partner to the other 31 NFL clubs, we also want to include an appropriate visiting team share when arriving at our pricing each season.”

Variable pricing will also be used once again for pre-season and regular-season games.

For South end zone, 700 Level tickets, fans will pay $64 for preseason and $128 for regular season, compared to 2022 prices of $63 and $125.  End zone seats will cost $65 for preseason and $129 for regular season, a small jump on $62 and $123 last year.

South end zone, 600 Level will set fans back $70 for preseason and $139 for regular season, an increase from $67 and $134 respectively. End zone to 20-yard line seats will cost $74 for preseason and $148 for regular season compared to $71 and $141.

Watching from between the 20-yard lines will set fans back $83 and $165 for preseason and regular season tickets, compared to $78 and $156 last year.

‘Pay As We Play’ will continue to be available for Green and Gold package holders to pay for playoff tickets. These package ticket holders can lock in special pricing for a possible Wild Card home game, which range from $115 to $149.

Mobile ticketing will continue to be utilised by the Packers for the 2023 season.
