Scottish club Cove Rangers signs up Future Ticketing

Scottish League One football club Cove Rangers has signed up Future Ticketing as its new ticketing partner.

Cove Rangers originally switched to e-ticketing in 2020, with the partnership building on this through the installation of new equipment at Balmoral Stadium to encourage the use of e-tickets. Fans are able to store and share tickets within the Cove Rangers ticketing app.

Future Ticketing chief executive Liam Holton (pictured) said: “Our commitment to driving football ticketing innovation for loyal fans continues with this partnership with Cove Rangers. Together we will enable Cove Rangers to achieve all of their ticketing and service goals for their fans.

“This was a key element of our software being selected in the competitive process, putting fan engagement at the forefront of the ticketing process.”

Keith Moorhouse, Cove Rangers chairman, added: “As a club it is important that we continue to progress in all areas, we initially made the move to e-ticketing in 2020 and as part of our overall review we felt it was important to bring in a ticketing system that offered our supporters improved flexibility. We look forward to working with Future Ticketing to bring new ideas and options to our supporters.

“In addition to a number of other features, supporters will have the opportunity to spread the cost of season ticket payments for the first time. The partnership will include the installation of new equipment for our match-day operations and we will continue to encourage the purchase of e-tickets to cut down on queueing times.”

Future Ticketing also recently added newly promoted Championship Rugby club Cambridge Rugby to its portfolio, as well as the recently relegated English football club, Hartlepool United.
