London Theatre Week launches ticket deals for hit West End shows

London Theatre Week kicks off today (Monday) and will run until March 6, with tickets available for hit West End shows for as little as £15 ($20/€18).

The scheme includes West End Blockbusters and Off West End and fringe hit shows.

Theatre fans will be able to watch long-running classics or the latest productions to launch.

Some of the top picks include fan-favourites such as The Lion King (pictured), Wicked, Les Misérables and Grease.

Newer introductions based on hit film franchises such as Frozen The Musical, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Back to the Future: The Musical, are also a part of London Theatre Week.

Tickets booked during London Theatre Week can be used over the coming months, meaning plans for theatre trips can be made for the spring or summer.

London Theatre Week will enable over 40 shows to be booked at prices between £15 and £45.

Tickets for off West End shows like The Great Gatsby, Doctor Who Time Fracture and Magic Mike Live can also be snapped up during the week.

Theatres have struggled over the last two years due to the pandemic, in part due to the lockdowns in the UK forcing multiple lengthy closures, but also because of the lack of confidence from returning regulars.

However, in a recent interview with TheTicketingBusiness.com, Theatre Tokens business development and relationship manager, Jamie Snelgrove, said that customer confidence is “returning” in line with restrictions lifting across the UK.
