The O2 sets reopening date following storm damage

The O2 in London is set to reopen on Friday after suffering major damage as Storm Eunice tore through parts of the UK last week.

Rapper Dave had been scheduled to play two headline shows at the arena today (Monday) and tomorrow, but the gigs were postponed to allow time for the site to be event-ready.

The O2 said yesterday that an update on rescheduled dates for the Dave gigs will be announced in the next 48 hours, with tickets to remain valid for the new shows.

The O2 will remain closed until Friday to give the arena team more time to carry out necessary works on the venue’s roof.
