Tech Stack: Attractions, digital ticketing and more…

Our weekly tech round-up from the world of ticketing and associated industries…

Connect&Go implements Konnect

Connect&Go, a provider of integrated attractions management solutions and RFID technology, has partnered with Roaring Springs Waterpark and Wahooz Family Fun Zone.

The two attractions will utilise the Konnect platform, an all-in-one attractions management platform. Roaring Springs and Wahooz will use the platform along with RFID wristbands, self-service kiosks and flexible access control options to create a streamlined guest experience.

Konnect integrates eCommerce ticketing, point-of-sale, cashless, F&B, access control, waivers and more into a centralised platform with real-time data.

The Metaverse as a revenue stream

Sports platform Zetly has announced a new partnership with Transmira, to create a ‘turnkey’ solution to access the Metaverse.

The hope is to solve the problem of funding for sports clubs and groups, with the ability to create digital assets such as NFTs (non-fungible tokens) which can create new revenue streams.

Transmira’s Omniscape platform brings real-world locations to life so that businesses can engage with consumers by combining Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in a new Extended Reality (XR) environment.

Golf charity event in Fobi partnership

Fobi, a provider of real-time data analytics through artificial intelligence (AI), is set to support the Big Wheel Charity Golf Classic tournament in Nanaimo, Canada with its checkpoint digital ticketing and engagement solution.

The proceeds from the charity golf event, which is organised by country music artists Aaron Pritchett, will go towards organisations such as KidSport and Nanaimo Community Hospice Society.

Going digital

Tickets for Maui Interscholastic League (MIL) events can now only be purchased through digital ticketing service, GoFan. Events in the Hawaiian schools’ league will no longer be able to accept cash purchases on the door.

Attendees are able to purchase tickets through GoFan’s website or the app on a mobile device.
