Ticketmaster cancels remaining sales for US leg of BTS member Suga’s solo tour

Ticketmaster has cancelled the general Verified Fan presale and general onsale for the US leg of BTS member Suga’s solo tour in April and May, due to the level of demand during the first presale.

The Live Nation-owned ticketing platform announced yesterday (Thursday) that “due to extremely high demand during today’s Army Member Presale, there will not be a General Verified Fan Presale of General Onsale”.

In the build up to the first presale, Ticketmaster said that demand was high for the South Korean rapper’s tour, with organisers making 100% of tickets available for purchase during the Army Member presale.

“If all tickets are purchased during the Army Member Presale, there will not be any additional sales,” Ticketmaster said on Twitter.

Suga’s Agust D Tour (which is titled after the performer’s other stage name Agust D) will mean he is the first member of K-pop band BTS to embark on a solo world tour.

The rapper will perform two shows at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York on April 26 and 27, before playing one show in Newark, New Jersey on April 29. Suga will then take to the stage at Allstate arena in Rosemont for three nights on May 3, 5 and 6, before travelling to Los Angeles’ Kia Forum for three shows on May 10, 11 and 14.

The tour’s US leg will then finish with two performances on May 16 and 17 at Oakland Arena in Oakland, California. He will then embark on the Asia leg of the Agust D Tour.
