Pearl Jam commit to fairly priced tickets for upcoming summer tour dates

Pearl Jam have committed to “fairly priced tickets” for their upcoming summer tour dates, as well as all-in pricing.

The rock band also said that they would make tickets non-transferrable to help protect fans from increased prices on the secondary market.

In a statement, Pearl Jam said: “To continue to protect fans’ access to fairly priced tickets, Pearl Jam has decided to make tickets non-transferrable where permitted, and by selling approximately 10% of tickets through PJ Premium at the market rate to offset increased costs.

“Tickets on this tour will continue to be non-transferrable in all states except Illinois where it is prohibited by law. We apologise in advance to Illinois fans who may be subject to increased ticket prices on the secondary market.”

The band added that they will use all-in pricing across its tour for the first time, meaning the price listed is the full price inclusive of fees.

Public tickets will be available through Ticketmaster Verified Fan Registration, which is open until tomorrow (Tuesday).

Pearl Jam are set to perform at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Chicago’s United Center, Ruoff Music Center in Indianapolis, Ft. Worth’s Dickies Arena and Austin’s Moody Center across August and September.
