UEFA reveals ticketing details for men’s and women’s club competition finals

UEFA has revealed details for the Champions League final, Europa League final, the Europa Conference League final and the Women’s Champions League final.

A total of 47,200 tickets out of 72,000 for the UEFA Champions League final are available directly to fans and the general public. The two teams that reach the final will receive an allocation of 20,000 each, while the remaining tickets would be offered for sale to fans worldwide.

Fans are now able to apply for tickets to the Champions League final, Europa League final and the Europa Conference League final, with the application phase ending on April 28.

The UEFA Champions League final is set to be played at Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium on June 10.

The ticket sales and allocation process will be organised by the clubs involved in each final. The remaining tickets are for the local organising structure, the European football governing body itself, and national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters.

A ballot will be conducted to allocate the tickets once the application period has ended.

During the application process, applicants can choose whether they want to enter the lottery in any case or only if their team qualifies. For the lottery, the ticket quota will be allocated daily between the two groups of applicants, taking account of the number of applications received within each group.

Ticket prices for the Champions League final will begin at €70 (£62/$77) with the most expensive costing €690.

Accessibility tickets for disabled spectators will cost €70 and will come with one complimentary companion ticket.

Tickets will be delivered through the official UEFA mobile tickets app leading up to the match.

The 2023 UEFA Europa League final will be played at Budapest’s Puskás Aréna in Hungary May 31.

A total of 46,800 tickets out of 63,000 will be available directly to fans and the public for the UEFA Europa League final. The two teams that reach the final will receive 15,000 each. Successful applicants will be able to purchase up to four tickets in the allocated price category.

Ticket prices for the Europa League final start at €40 and will go up to €150. Accessibility tickets for disabled supporters with one complimentary companion tickets will also cost €40.

The 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League final is set to be played at Eden Arena in Prague, Czech Republic on June 7. A total 13,000 tickets of the 18,00 available will be placed on sale for fans and the public. The two teams that reach the final will receive an allocation of 5,000 tickets and the remaining tickets will be made available for sale worldwide.

Prices start at €25 and will rise to €125 and a disability ticket with one companion will also cost €25.

The 2023 UEFA Women’s Champions League final will take place on June 3 in Eindhoven and fans were able to purchase tickets via the Royal Dutch Football Federation. Any remaining tickets will go on sale on May 15.

UEFA also warned fans against purchasing tickets from unauthorised sellers, agents or websites as they could be counterfeit or invalid.

Last year’s Champions League final was marred by issues surrounding ticketing and entry into the final between Premier League club Liverpool and LaLiga side Real Madrid. UEFA issued an apology after fans were delayed for more than two hours outside the Stade de France in Paris.

Following an investigation, UEFA said that it would be implementing a special refund scheme for Liverpool fans affected by the events leading up to the Champions League final.
