Coldplay reveal Asia and Australia tour dates


Coldplay have announced their return to Asia and Australia with a run of stadium shows in November this year, as part of the British band’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour.

The string of dates feature the band’s first shows in Tokyo since 2017 as well as their first ever dates in Kaohsiung in Taiwan, Jakarta in Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, as well as a special one-off performance in Perth. This is the first time Coldplay will have played in Western Australia since 2009. 

Coldplay will play at the 55,000-capacity Tokyo Dome on November 6 and 7, the 55,000-capacity Kaohsiung National Stadium on November 11, Jakarta’s 77,000-capacity Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on November 15 and Perth’s 60,000-capacity Optus Stadium on November 18.

The band will then finish up the string of dates at Kuala Lumpur’s 85,000-capacity National Stadium Bukit Jalil on November 22. 

Tickets for Coldplay’s Tokyo performances will go on sale from June 17, while tickets for Kaohsiung will be available to purchase from May 18. 

Fans will be able to purchase tickets for Jakarta from May 19 and tickets for the Perth gig will go on sale from May 16. Tickets for the Kuala Lumpur show will go on sale from May 17.
