Bad Cinderella is set to close on Broadway, just 10 weeks after its official opening night.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s latest production said on Twitter that “all good things must come to end” and that its final performance at New York’s Imperial theatre will be on June 4.

According to a report from the Guardian, ticket sales fell despite a low average price for a big Broadway musical – for example, last week’s prices were $54 (£43/€50). Bad Cinderella will have played 33 previews and 85 performances by the end of its run.
The musical is a shake up of Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella, which ran for just under one year with COVID-related breaks in performances, and suffered heavy losses at the Gillian Lynne theatre in London.
Some of the cast members were shocked to learn of the closing of Cinderella in London last year via social media.
Lloyd Webber’s famous musical The Phantom of the Opera also closed earlier this year after more than 35 years on Broadway.
The musical played 13,981 shows and grossed more than $1.3bn since opening on January 26, 1988.
