Iconic venue Koko, which is set to reopen its doors in London next month, has announced that See Tickets will be its official ticketing partner.
After undergoing a major £70m ($92m/€85m) restoration and redevelopment project, the 50,000 square foot live music venue and broadcasting house will host live music and DJ performances.
Koko boasts nine spaces including the newly-restored 19th century theatre and ‘Fly Tower’ venue, as well as Café Koko which will host intimate live performances.
The venue’s launch programme includes a three-night residency from artist Lianne La Havas, and headline slots from R&B artist Jorja Smith and former frontman of The Libertines, Pete Doherty.
Rob Wilmshurt, global chief executive at See Tickets, said: “Koko is a game-changing new venue for the industry and See Tickets are so proud that the shareholders recognise our continual commitment to service quality and technical innovation.

Prior to being transformed into an immersive space, Koko was a theatre that originally opened in 1900 before becoming a broadcasting centre. It housed productions such as Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
Over the years, Koko has welcomed international artists such as Madonna and Kanye West, while British acts like Stormzy and Coldplay have also graced the venue.
The restoration took around three years to complete as progress was derailed by a fire, water damage and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Koko’s CEO and founder Olly Bengough added: “We are hugely excited that Koko is returning to the people this spring with such a dynamic new ticket provider like See Tickets.
