Grand Rapids Griffins launches business-minded memberships


The Grand Rapids Griffins, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of National Hockey League (NHL) franchise the Detroit Red Wings, has launched a new season ticket membership designed specifically for businesses. 

Named Business Edge, the program allows companies to connect with customers, generate new business and strengthen relationships, as well as helping with team culture through employee recognition. 

The season ticket has the traditional benefits of a membership with extra Business Edge perks such as a concierge for VIP attendees, two in-season business events for networking and a dedicated webpage for companies. 

Business Edge members will also receive pre-sale access and select-game discounts on suite and hospitality rentals, as well as group tickets for employee outings or events. Companies can also add a Premium Seat License (PSL) to the membership for pre-public access when reserving seats for concerts and shows at Van Andel Arena. 

Matt Batchelder, vice-president of ticket sales and digital marketing, said: “When it comes to season tickets, businesses want more than just a seat to a game. They want a dynamic tool that will enhance multiple aspects of their business.

“The exclusive benefits included in our Business Edge membership will give businesses the opportunity to create memorable and impactful experiences for both customers and employees alike.”
