Standing room tickets have been released for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 fixture between India and Zimbabwe due to increased demand.
Some 90,293 fans attended the India vs Pakistan fixture on October 23 with another full house anticipated for the Zimbabwe game, which is set to take place next Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) (pictured).
The standing room tickets will be available for A$20 (£11/$13/€13) and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. There are also a limited number of seated tickets still available as well as ICC Hospitality, and ICC Travel and Tours packages.
A small number of additional tickets have also been released for two other match days including Pakistan vs South Africa at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Thursday. Tickets were also released and snapped up for yesterday’s match between Netherlands and Pakistan and India vs South Africa at Optus Stadium.
In an attempt to attract as many fans as possible, adult prices for tickets have started at just A$20 and children’s prices have started at A$5.
There are also some tickets still available for the final, which will be played at the MCG on November 13.
