ZAZA Festival, a new festival celebrating global music culture, is set to take place July 15-16 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The two-day event will also debut the world premiere of the BRKFST metaverse series from Nigerian singer, Burna Boy. The BRKFAST metaverse series will be accompanied by a mobile, immersive element to experience music together.
ZAZA Festival will feature performances from the likes of DaBaby, Afro B, Coco Jones, Latto and more.
The Atlantic City dates are the first in an anticipated series of live and streaming events from the ZAZA brand.
“We couldn’t wait to introduce ZAZA Festivals to the world. This immersive music event will connect artists and fans through cutting-edge technology like never before,” said Joe Callahan, ZAZA Festival founding partner.
An important aspect of the event will see artists and fans have the option to receive their own unique, secure link to share within their networks and make a commission from the sale of each ticket. The first 200 fans that purchase tickets through a specific artist will have the chance of winning VIP access to a backstage lounge.
Promis, ZAZA Festival talent coordinator, said: “Bridging the gap with artists and fans resonates with me and brought me to ZAZA Festivals. Being able to introduce the music culture through new technology, along with treating artists and fans fairly – it’s history-making.”
A portion of ZAZA ticket sales will also support the World Education Initiative, a non-profit organisation dedicated to educating young women in rural Africa.
