Belgium’s Pro League has partnered with event ticket seller Roboticket, which will be the official ticket provider for the Pro League and 1B Pro League from the 2022-23 season.
Over at least three seasons, Polish ticketing provider Roboticket will be the ticket provider for 25 of the 26 Pro League clubs. It has already partnered with clubs such as FC Copenhagen in Denmark, English Championship club Cardiff City, Polish side Lech Poznan and Brazil’s Palmeiras.
Clubs will have additional integration opportunities through the new partnership with Roboticket, with fans benefitting from safe registration and speedy ordering. Fans will also be able to order tickets online on a desktop or a smartphone.
Chief executive of the Pro League, Lorin Parys, said: “This collaboration is unique in the international football landscape. Nowhere else do so many professional clubs use the same ticketing platform uniformly.
“This expansion is beneficial for both clubs and supporters. Thanks to Roboticket, the Belgian football fan will soon be able to order tickets, subscriptions or drinks on a user-friendly interface, also from a smartphone.”
The new ticketing partnership has already been put to the test, with football fans purchasing tickets for a friendly between South Africa and Guinea on March 25 at the Golden Spurs stadium in Kortijk. Tickets were also bought through Roboticket for the Belgian Cup final between KAA Gent and RSC Anderlecht. Some 20,000 tickets were sold for the final in Brussels.
Roboticket CEO Michał Pyda added: “Ticketing connects fans, clubs and events. You can only enjoy the event after you have purchased a ticket. The fan experience therefore takes place before you even enter the stadium, on the screen of your computer or phone.
“Roboticket also wants to make these platforms as intuitive as possible so that fans are satisfied throughout the process.”
