Glastonbury coach and ticket packages sell out in 22 minutes

Coach and ticket packages for next year’s Glastonbury Festival sold out in just 22 minutes after going on sale yesterday (Thursday).

The UK’s flagship festival returned this year after COVID-induced cancellations in 2020 and 2021.

Glastonbury will return to Worthy Farm next year from June 21-25 and the usual rush for tickets did not disappoint, with ticket and coach packages selling out in 22 minutes.

General sale tickets are set to go on sale November 6 but festival-lovers will have to fork out £340 ($381/€390), a significant increase on the £270 price tag when tickets last went on sale in 2019.

Customers are expected to put down a £50 deposit before paying off the total in April next year.

Glastonbury organisers wrote on Twitter: “The Glastonbury 2023 coach and ticket packages on sale this evening have now all been sold. Thank you to everyone who bought one.”

Tickets for Glastonbury are sold exclusively through See Tickets and are extremely lucrative. According to a report from ITV, 2.4 million people tried to purchase tickets with only 200,000 spaces up for grabs.
