Cinema’s Neil Young event
Shakey Pictures, event cinema distributor Trafalgar Releasing and Warners Records have announced that ‘Neil Young: Harvest Time’ will be shown in cinemas worldwide on December 1. There will be select encores on December 4. The film celebrates the 50th anniversary of Young’s bestselling album, Harvest.
A magical concert special
Hollywood Bowl is set to be transformed for a magical edition of Disney’s ‘Encanto’, with an introduction from actor and composer Lin-Manuel Miranda. The concert event will then be streamed in an original special on Disney+ on December 28.
Immersive Elton John
Sir Elton John has launched an immersive experience through online gaming platform, Roblox. ‘Elton John Presents: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road’ will allows users to follow a yellow brick road in an interactive, virtual world. Fans will be able to experience the iconic artist’s music and fashion, as well as Elton John’s impact on pop culture.
Early access?
Those using Three’s phone network and its rewards app, Three+, will have early access to a limited number of tickets for comedian Peter Kay’s first tour in 12 years. The Three+ pre-sale will take place tomorrow (Thursday) for up to 48 hours. The comedian has also kept prices as low as £35 ($40/€40), to help comedy fans out during the cost-of-living crisis.
