Singapore’s famous night race will return this season for the first time in two years, with tickets going on sale for the Formula 1 grand prix from tomorrow (Wednesday).
In January, race promoter Singapore GP signed a multi-year deal to keep F1 coming to the city-state until 2028. This year’s race will be held September 30-October 2 and is the 17th stop of the season.
The race has been cancelled for the last two years due to the coronavirus pandemic. Singapore GP has also said it is working with the Government to ensure the event will adhere to safety measures.
In 2019, the last time the race was held in Singapore, the three days of racing drew a total of 268,000 spectators. This was the highest attendance since the 300,000 total attracted by the debut of the event in 2008.
The Singapore race is also known for its additional entertainment provisions across the weekend, with organisers set to announce the entertainment line-up in the coming weeks. Previous performers include Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, The Killers and Linkin Park.
There will be a variety of three-day grandstand offerings on sale, ranging from S$298 () to S$1,288 and combination packages from S$698 to $1,088. Different tickets will enable race fans to experience the race and off-track entertainment from various parts of Circuit Park over the race weekend.
Hospitality suites will also be available to watch the race, with patrons able to network or host guests at the Formula 1 Paddock Club, Sky Suite, Twenty3, The Green Room and [email protected] 3.
