HomeTown Ticketing partners with Bluffton University

Bluffton University has partnered with HomeTown Ticketing, a provider of digital ticketing and event software for schools, districts, conferences and associations, for all ticketed Bluffton alumni, athletics, music and theatre events.

Patrons can purchase tickets or transfer them using an app from the company, and results can be filtered by athletics, alumni or music and theatre for those looking to attend events at Bluffton, which is located in Ohio.

Tickets can also be purchased directly from the Bluffton website, and attendees can present printed copies on the door of the event, or show a QR code scanned from a mobile device.

The partnership will also enable Bluffton University to use a cashless system and cash will no longer be accepted to purchase event tickets at the gate, although patrons can purchase tickets using a credit or debit card.

In April of this year, HomeTown Ticketing revealed that it had secured a $75m (£62/€73m) investment from private equity firm, Nexa Equity.

The company, which is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, enables customers to manage events, sell reserved seating online and oversee gate admissions. Event staff can set up custom box offices, manage and report payments, and communicate with patrons through multiple channels.
